The predicted salary is between 22000 - 29000 £ per year.

The role will provide support and guidance to a group of local schools and their subject leaders, implementing a bespoke inclusive offer for Physical Activity, PE and Sport that is needs-led and enables schools to embed national initiatives at the local level. It reports to the LRF Head of Community and Engagement and serves as the main point of contact for key personnel within participating schools.

Salary: £26,250. Hours: Full Time. Contract: 1 year fixed (Jan 2027).

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and administer the agreed local programme for Physical Activity, PE and Sport.
  • Implement and deliver a calendar of support and events with all primary schools.
  • Liaise with high school PE departments to access facilities and young leaders for cluster events.
  • Work with key partners to lead competitions, events and festivals.
  • Promote high quality PE.
  • Identify talent and signpost to various intervention programmes.
  • Lead leadership programmes.
  • Deliver CPD and good practice.
  • Link club and community pathways.
  • Coordinate links to Leeds Rhinos Foundation resources and opportunities.
  • Advise and support on indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of work, manage workload effectively and ensure safeguarding through adherence to school and partner policies.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Attend relevant meetings.
  • Attend relevant CPD.
  • Attend school/LRF and Well Schools events as necessary.
  • Update Outlook calendar on a weekly basis.
  • Update UPSHOT and other relevant data collection tools.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Pupil and Sport Premium.

  • Recognised National Governing Body Level 2 coaching qualification or Multi Skills Level 2.
  • Safeguarding, First Aid, Enhanced DBS.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle.
