We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Education Manager to lead the growth, quality, and development of our programmes supporting primary school aged children. This role combines management with hands‑on delivery, overseeing a diverse portfolio of programmes while supporting the development of staff, partnerships, and evidence‑based practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of programmes across the GROW Pillar, ensuring high‑quality, inclusive, and impactful delivery.
  • Line manage and support Community Sport Coaches delivering across primary schools, football development sessions and holiday camps.
  • Contribute to delivery where required, modelling high standards and supporting consistent practice.
  • Oversee monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting, ensuring accurate data capture and translation into Salesforce CRM.
  • Strengthen partnerships with schools, community organisations, local authorities, and other agencies.
  • Support resource and programme development to empower participants and enhance programme effectiveness.
  • Drive strong evidence of impact across programmes, ensuring consistent measurement against KPIs and continuous programme growth.

About You

  • We are seeking a well‑organised & purpose‑driven individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for primary school aged children.
  • Experience of working in a sport and/or physical activity environment.
  • Experience of planning and delivering Physical Education to National Curriculum guidelines and a focus on teacher CPD.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and support staff.
  • Confidence in monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, productive partnerships.
  • A commitment to inclusive practice and empowering participants to reach their potential.

Essential Qualifications

  • English and Maths GCSE at grades A*-C or 4-9.
  • Valid FA Emergency Aid Certificate.
  • Valid Safeguarding Certificate.
  • Range of sports qualifications including at least one NGB Level 2 qualification or above in any sport.
