We have an exciting opportunity for an FE/HE Manager to lead the growth, quality, and development of our 16+ Education Offer. This pivotal role will combine strategic leadership with hands‑on delivery, overseeing our Post‑16 Education and Sport programmes while also contributing directly through tutoring, mentoring, and supporting tutors and coaching staff.
Salary: £30,000 starting, up to £30,000+ depending on experience and qualification. Full‑time, permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to develop and expand our 16+ education provision
- Lead and coordinate Post‑16 education and sport programmes
- Deliver high‑quality teaching and tutoring to learners aged 16‑19
- Mentor, support, and develop tutors to ensure consistent delivery standards
- Oversee assessment, internal verification and quality assurance processes
- Ensure programmes meet awarding body requirements and maintain high standards of learner achievement
About You:
We are seeking a passionate and driven individual committed to improving outcomes for young people in an education or community setting.
- Proven experience delivering, leading, and coordinating Post‑16 educational programmes
- Strong knowledge of BTEC Sport (Level 3) or similar vocational qualifications
- Solid understanding of assessment, verification and quality assurance processes
- Passion for supporting and developing 16‑19‑year‑old learners
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Essential Qualifications:
- A degree in Sport, Education or a related discipline
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, QTLS, Cert Ed or equivalent)
