We are looking for a candidate passionate about sports development, for a role driving tennis participation across park sites in Leicestershire & Nottinghamshire. A role with the opportunity to really impact upon tennis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Head of Parks and local authority contacts to promote park tennis courts and programs in a joined‑up approach.
  • Collaborate with the local coaching workforce to provide coaching in parks and the community, including schools, HAF programmes and other community groups.
  • Build relationships with local schools, colleges and universities to create a pathway for tennis players from education to parks.
  • Support on‑court activities such as free park tennis sessions on weekend mornings, Big Tennis Weekend events and tennis socials.
  • Recruit and coordinate local volunteer "Activators" to support free park tennis.
  • Drive participation in other LTA initiatives such as Big Tennis Weekends and local tennis leagues across the area.
  • Communicate regularly with the tennis community about opportunities to play in the area.
  • Conduct regular checks of all park sites to ensure courts are in good condition for play.

Role requires a flexible commitment of 12 hours per week.
