2. The Role
Based at our world‑class facility at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground, we are looking for an experienced Soft Tissue Therapist with a passion and expertise in providing proactive treatment, reducing injury risk and ultimately maintaining our players’ peak performance. You will be responsible for providing evidence‑based soft tissue therapy for the players, including conducting thorough assessments of soft tissue injuries and providing individualised treatment plans with clear clinical reasoning. This is an opportunity to work with some of the best football talent in the world and to make a valuable impact on their career. You will play a vital role in our multi‑disciplinary team, working collaboratively with the Performance Director, Head of Medical Services and Head Physiotherapist.

3. The Person
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 or 4 in Sports Massage
  • BSc in Sports Therapy (or equivalent)
You will need to have previous, significant experience in delivering soft‑tissue therapy in an elite sports environment, ideally in football and have experience in using instrument‑assisted soft tissue therapy, such as TECAR. We are looking for someone who is a concise, assertive and effective communicator and can build relationships with a range of stakeholders including the wider multi‑disciplinary team and our players. You will need to be organised, proactive, calm and positive, and be comfortable working in a fast‑paced dynamic environment. You will need to be available to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and matchdays, and be available to travel to away matches on a rota basis.
