Raytheon UK is searching for a Facilitation Specialist to join our OMNIA® Training team. As a Training Solution Analyst, you will be critical to the successful delivery of the programme, collaborating within a matrix organisation, with multi‑disciplinary teams within Engineering. OMNIA is redefining the British Army's collective training. This is more than a job – it’s a mission. The Facilitation Specialist works within the Facilitation & Administration Service (F&A) which delivers assured, scalable training support through early and continuous engagements during training exercise design and planning. This position is critical to the successful delivery of the Collective Training Transformation Programme (CTTP), ensuring that collective training is delivered to meet the British Army's needs. The F&A Service supports exercise planning and execution, manages the use of the Electromagnetic Spectrum, co‑ordinates logistic and real‑life support services to set up exercises in locations both UK and Overseas.
- Identify and coordinate the support requirements to deliver, sustain, and recover Collective Training delivered at the point of need.
- Undertake the planning, development and implementation of tailored exercise support solutions for Collective Training Events.
- Support the design and delivery of collective training and update as necessary to reflect changes in the Force Preparation Schedule.
- Deputise for Facilitation & Administration Lead when required.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure training support is aligned to the current operational environment, the pacing threat and current British Army Doctrine.
- Develop support proposals using inputs from MOD stakeholders, and from information sources such as the FPS, ESOR, and ILS reports.
- Undertake and support the design, integration, and implementation of training support solutions across the programme.
- Direct support services to implement approved options and ensure readiness through formal capability briefings and reporting.
- Liaise with Logistic Support and Real‑Life Support providers both within Omnia Training and across the wider army and industry.
- Ensure governance, risk management, and compliance standards are met throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Report on progress, risks, and outcomes to Training Support leadership.
- Any other duties required to develop and support the F&A Service.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in designing Collective Training Exercise Support Solutions for the British Army training.
- Strong background in Log IS and technical support solutions.
- Understanding of management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and influencing at all levels of an organisation.
- Experience in programme governance, risk management, and benefits realisation.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, a passion for quality and be able to plan and multitask.
- Adopt a flexible approach to the role, adapt to evolving priorities.
- Experience working in or with public sector or defence‑related programmes.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience with training both in the UK and overseas.
- Familiarity with data‑driven decision‑making and digital transformation tools.
- Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
- Ability to foster innovation and drive cultural change within large organisations.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and third‑party delivery partners.
