The Recruiting Partnership Project (RPP) is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and selecting officers and soldiers for the Army (Regular and Reserve), meeting targets based around quantity, quality, and candidate experience. The Estates Team ensures smooth operations by managing and regularly reviewing Estate Management practices. They ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations while protecting key assets such as personnel, infrastructure, and information, so the business stays strong, adaptable, and competitive. This is a field-based role with regular travel to sites within the North-West region of the UK, covering locations such as Carlisle, Manchester, Liverpool, Preston and Bangor.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for 12-15 properties within the North-West region of the UK
- Providing Safety, Health and Environment support across the designated area of operations
- Producing HSE routine and investigation reports
- Conducting routine inspection and confirmatory compliance visits at Capita Leased Offices
- Conducting regular checks to ensure all equipment is serviceable and compliant
- Providing first line liaison between contractors and sites
- Addressing all actions/works required
Required Qualifications:
- Previous Estates Management experience
- SHE qualifications (minimum IOSH Managing Safely – or equivalent)
- Excellent research and planning skills coupled with an ability to interpret policy direction
- Good Project Management skills
- Good organisation and reporting skills
- IT literate
- Flexible to travel
- Must have a full UK drivers licence
Desirable Qualifications / Experience:
- A military background or understanding of the military would be an advantage
- Understanding of a recruiting and target-driven environment would be desirable
