Over the years many students at University have felt financially supported throughout their studies and have remained in the band whilst now in the civilian employment of their choosing.

Joining the band has never been so simple and there is now NO basic training. All training is musical and relates to our musical role. This is completed within the band with NO requirement to complete the Army basic 9 day Reserve Foundation course training.

The joining process:

  • Apply online where you will receive an online medical questionnaire.
  • An interview with a candidate support manager.
  • After the interview, get your medical forms filled in at your GP.
  • Musical Audition
  • Join the band/In-house musical training
