About the role:

  • Responsible for supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner with quarterly 3–5-year group forecasts, including budget, through regular meetings with Senior Leadership Team and budget holders.
  • Providing support for the retail team in respect of a review of regular reporting requirements, working with the retail teams to create a regular suite of reports from the Nisyst platform and Business Central.
  • Provide support to the Fundraising team in respect of a review of their reporting requirements, helping to design and implement reports to aid analysis and understanding of income and expense.
  • Providing information to the Senior Finance Business Partner to support their input into accruals and prepayment for production of accurate management accounts.
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the wider finance team.

You will be:

  • Responsible for supporting the SFBP with the management and production of the group quarterly 3-5 year forecasts and annual budgeting process.
  • Advising and supporting retail and fundraising management and teams with analysis and interpretation of accounting information, budget management and forecasting processes through regular monthly meetings.
  • Lead in the production of a suite of reports for the retail and fundraising teams and management that supports their understanding of the numbers and aids decision making.
  • Provide support to the SFBP in respect of regular monthly reporting, such as FTE and Headcount reporting to the budget holders and liaising with the payroll manager and HR team to ensure accuracy.
  • Production of ad hoc accruals and prepayments for month end management accounts.
  • Support budget holders with business case financial data.
  • Maintain external and internal knowledge of financial policies and standards.
