The Food and Beverage Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Oceanarium in Bournemouth. This involves leading and motivating a team while managing all three of our catering outlets. You will oversee daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, manage and train team members, and ensure exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining menus
- Ensuring consistently high food safety standards
- Managing budgets and maximizing profitability
- Taking a hands-on approach, leading by example to enhance the guest experience
Qualifications:
- Experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, understanding of menu development, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Proficiency in Customer Service, with the ability to maintain high-quality experiences for guests while addressing queries or concerns effectively
- Capability in Training employees to meet operational standards and fostering a team-oriented work environment
- Skills in Budgeting and financial management to monitor costs, revenue, and resources for optimal performance
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, including weekends and holidays
- At least 3 years experience in the hospitality or tourism industry with 2 years leadership proficiency
- Food safety certification is a must
