Blackpool Zoo is currently looking to recruit an Experienced Mammal Keeper. The successful candidate will join our existing team of keepers assisting in the daily care and husbandry needs of our animals. The zoo houses a wide range of mammal species from Cotton Top Tamarins to Asian Elephants, and the successful candidate will have experience caring for a variety of mammal taxa.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years zoo keeping experience at a recognised zoological institution and completion of the DMZAA course or an equivalent qualification.
- Hard working, physically fit, enthusiastic, and reliable.
- Experience with Category 1 animals is advantageous.
