West Midlands Safari Park are recruiting for the position of Carnivore keeper. This is a permanent, full‑time paid contract with a salary of £24,784.50.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver daily husbandry tasks including feeding, cleaning, health monitoring, animal training and enclosure maintenance to a high standard.
  • Monitor guest safety and operate watch towers.

About You

  • HND level or above in an animal related qualification or successful completion of the DMZAA.
  • Previous experience in a zoological collection is preferred but full training will be given.
  • Excellent communication skills, confident, motivated and enthusiastic about wildlife conservation.
  • Flexible work approach – willing to work outside standard business hours, including weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
  • Full, valid driving licence (required for driving in animal restricted areas).
