We\’re looking for someone to join our Café Kitchen team at Noah\’s Ark Zoo Farm!
This role is all about good food, homemade bakes, and being part of a team that cares about what we serve. You don\’t need to be a formally trained chef, what matters is that you enjoy cooking, love to bake, and want to learn and grow with us.
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am – 4pm (with the occasional slightly later finish).
Flexibility: We are beginning to host more evening events, so the right person will be happy to flex up and support these when needed.
What You\’ll Be Doing
- Cooking our animal-themed cafe menu (from burgers to nachos and toasties).
- Baking a wide range of homemade treats: from brownies and rocky roads to sausage rolls and seasonal cakes.
- Being part of a hands-on, flexible team: we don\’t run in strict sections, so you\’ll jump in where needed, from bakes to the grill, sometimes supporting our separate farm shop team with popular meals and classic desserts, or helping in our other outlets with their own twists.
- Keeping our kitchen clean, safe, and well organised.
What We\’re Looking For
- Someone who enjoys both cooking and baking.
- A genuine interest in food and taking pride in what you make.
- Willingness to learn new skills and develop yourself with our support.
- A positive, caring attitude and good team spirit.
- Flexibility to support occasional eveing events as part of the role.
What We Offer
- A friendly, supportive team environment.
- Daytime hours (with evening events added in).
- Variety, from cafe favourites to farm shop classics, no two days are quite the same.
- The chance to be part of a fun, animal-themed cafe in the heart of Noah\’s Ark Zoo Farm.
If you\’d like to cook and bake in a lively kitchen surrounded by the sounds of the zoo, we\’d love to hear from you.
