Noah's Ark Zoo Farm is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard-working individual to join our Animal Section Support Team; you will be working across all six animal sections of the zoo. This is a complex and rewarding role, and we expect applicants to have knowledge and practical experience of an array of animals. A strong work ethic, good team working and communication skills, and the ability to maintain high levels of hygiene are important to the role.
Key Aspects Of The Role
- Support animal sections with full keeping duties, including providing support on days when staffing is low and helping teams to fulfil their collective goals.
- Deliver encounters and experiences to our visitors.
- Drive the company vehicle for collection of resources, e.g., feed and veterinary supplies.
Applicants Must
- Have a constructive and professional approach that strengthens team culture.
- Have previous keeping experience (2 years minimum ideally).
- Be familiar with the care required for a variety of species.
- Be highly motivated.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene when working.
- Possess a full, manual driving licence.
This is a full-time position working a 40-hour week on a flexible rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
