British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a Trade Systems Analyst in Chiswick, London

As a

Trade Systems Analyst at BAT UK, your primary objective is to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of trade systems, including Power Apps, Power BI, Anaplan and Salesforce.

You will work closely with the Trade Systems Manager and Executive to support the execution of trade campaigns within S&I and Organised trade channels.

The role encompasses supporting the Trade Systems team and will also include the handling of reporting and execution of operational tasks.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organisation? Supporting the functioning of the cycle planning and trade systems team.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Assist with System Management: Help maintain Anaplan, Power BI, Power Apps, and Salesforce.
  • Support Campaign Setup: Provide input and data for campaign objectives in Anaplan and Salesforce & Local CRM.
  • Help with Tool Implementation: Assist in testing and rolling out new tools or system updates (Testing new functionalities).
  • Assist with Field force system issues on day-to-day basis. Resolve Issues: Troubleshooting and keep databases updated.
  • Take control of Data hygiene of different platforms.
  • Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.

What are we looking for?

  • BSc (preferably MSc) in a quantitative or business field.
  • Knowledge of trade systems (Power BI is a must have).
  • Power BI capabilities, Power Apps knowledge, SAP & Salesforce basic knowledge, experience with Anaplan software are required.
  • Strong communication skills for managing daily system issues with the field force.
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure, excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise are required.
  • Agent of change, eager to make a difference; Proactive mentality, coming up with solutions for future problems.

  • Experience with Anaplan software, Python and/or Data Analytics.
  • Experience from a large organisation with exposure to Marketing, Systems, Trade or equivalent.
  • Project management experience of successfully implementing new systems functionalities.
