As the Trade Operations Executive, you serve as a key liaison across Area Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Independents & Symbols, Wholesalers, Distributors, and Consumer Experience, developing channel and account plans, managing campaigns, and analysing results to optimise performance. Complementing this, you support national Field Force operations driving operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Act as cross‑functional liaison across Area Marketing, Finance, Independents & Symbols, Wholesalers & Distributors, Supply Chain, and Consumer Experience.
- Support development and execution of cycle plans for each account/channel: launches, portfolio management, listing fees, visibility and activation activities.
- Create trade plans that achieve S&I targets; plan and allocate resources per cycle for execution excellence.
- Identify right geographies, store types and selling opportunities to design and implement cycle plans.
- Ensure timely delivery of activities with contributions from relevant departments; follow up to uncover insights on success rates and ROI.
- Use insights to optimise future cycle plans, minimising investment and maximising outputs.
- Support development of Brand Coverage, Trade Coverage and Retail Classification Model for UK EM.
- Conduct progress review meetings; present plans and projects to stakeholders.
- Identify key business initiatives to drive growth within trade cycles.
- Monitor active campaigns; track results against cycle plans; flag performance issues and successes.
- Establish KPIs for account planning; monitor and report performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and EH&S policies.
- Coordinate with the agency in the management of Fleet & Telematics.
Qualifications and Experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, notably PowerPoint and Excel.
- Project management experience; ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle large amounts of information and draw conclusions; analytical with attention to detail and big‑picture thinking.
- Knowledge of UK Field Trade operations.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to converse at multiple seniority levels.
- Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and functions; strong stakeholder engagement.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; results‑oriented.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work autonomously and lead by example.
- Bachelor's Degree.
