b Overview /b p In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by managing data interfaces from HR systems, resolving issues, and handling sensitive information. You will support system testing and oversee reporting for employee benefits, aligning with legislation and internal policies. Your work directly impacts payroll accuracy, compliance, and employee trust. You will collaborate with Global Business Services and other stakeholders to maintain data integrity and support payroll operations at BAT. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li market leading annual performance bonus /li li diverse health plans /li li work-life balance initiatives /li li transportation support /li li flexible holiday plan /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including manual calculations and data integrity /li li Maintain compliance with HMRC, statutory obligations, GDPR, and SOx controls /li li Provide payroll reports to management, third parties, and Global Business Services /li li Manage specialist payroll activities (e.g., Non-Executive Director and foreign currency payrolls) and benefits reporting /li li Support payroll systems through queries resolution, upgrades, maintenance, disaster recovery, and testing changes /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong payroll knowledge and calculations /li li Knowledge of relevant legislation; pension and share-related knowledge advantageous /li li Analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills /li li Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities /li li Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage competing priorities /li li Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll applications /li li Professional Payroll or Finance Qualification /li /ul ul li Analytical thinking /li li Strong communication /li li Customer service orientation /li li Microsoft Office /li li Payroll applications /li li Data integrity management /li /ul
