WE DRBU is at the forefront of Transformation, which means changes are initiated in WE to lead the path for EM as well as the group. The role requires leading financial planning and governance processes across the area, ensuring robust decision-making on pricing, resource allocation including CAPEX investments. Drive alignment between strategic priorities and financial outcomes through effective SOP cycles and business case evaluations. Additionally, this person leads and develops multiple direct reports, fostering a high-performance team culture while delivering superior financial analysis and influencing DRBU ways of working and direction.

ROLE DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • SOP Governance: support SOP cycles from a commercial perspective, ensuring timely highlight of Key Performance Indicators across Marketing investment, capex and guardrails.
  • Pricing Strategy: Driving Pricing and Excise strategies for the DRBU, ensuring alignment of EM strategies with DRBU vision. Oversee pricing governance and reporting, ensuring compliance with global guidelines.
  • Resource Allocation: Develop and implement resource allocation principles across categories, optimising investments to deliver business stretch targets. Work in alignment with Growth capabilities team to embed new concepts/capabilities into BAU Resource allocation.
  • CAPEX Management: Lead CAPEX planning and prioritisation, including review of business cases for regional approval.
  • Business Case Governance: coordinate timely preparation and submission of business cases for new projects, launches, and investment decisions, aligned with updated governance requirements across the area. Pressure test principles and challenge where necessary.
  • Partner Engagement: Collaborate with regional and global teams to secure approvals, resolve governance queries, and communicate financial implications effectively. Work closely with End Markets and Area partners to support them in implementing area strategies.
  • People Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing, diverse team, fostering collaboration, capability growth, and talent development.
