British American Tobacco United Kingdom has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Manager in London. The Area Cyber Security Manager plays a key role in strengthening cyber resilience and security posture across the Western Europe region. The role acts as a key partner to the Regional Cyber Resilience team, ensuring the effective implementation of cyber security initiatives, standards, and remediation plans across markets. Working closely with regional and local stakeholders, supporting vulnerability management, cyber risk mitigation, and the continuous improvement of security practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all cyber security matters across the Western Europe region.
- Monitor security vulnerabilities, ensuring timely remediation and risk mitigation.
- Establish and execute security remediation plans for infrastructure, hardware, and applications in line with business priorities.
- Conduct cyber risk assessments for regional projects and initiatives.
- Maintain asset baselines in VMS and Balbix (IP ranges, hardware, network devices).
- Ensure application inventory in LeanIX remains accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure network, system, and application implementation.
- Coordinate application security remediation with local IT teams and functional technology teams.
- Track cyber security performance indicators and coordinate actions to achieve security targets.
- Support cyber incident response activities and act as a key contact during security incidents and investigations.
What are we looking for?
- 5+ years of progressive experience in cyber security, demonstrating a strong track record in managing security initiatives and risks.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Experience assessing cyber risks for projects, vendors, and technologies.
- Strong understanding of cyber security management, technologies, architecture, and audit requirements.
- Strong knowledge across networking, application development, operations, incident response, third-party vendor management, and OT security.
- Proven ability to manage and communicate with stakeholders across varying seniority levels.
- Understanding of cloud and SaaS configuration management and risk reduction, particularly within Azure and AWS environments.
- Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
