Role Description
The Private Client US Tax Senior Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role involves managing and providing tax compliance and advisory services for high-net-worth private clients with U.S. and U.K. tax obligations. The Senior Manager will oversee tax compliance and reporting engagements for the private client section of the company, represent taxpayers before the IRS and HMRC, lead complex cross-border financial planning discussions, and provide innovative solutions for clients’ portfolio management and tax challenges. A key element is ensuring returns are error-free and aimed at lowest tax possible in the current year whilst keeping future years lock safe from taxes as well. Team collaboration, mentoring junior team members, and building lasting client relationships are key responsibilities of this role.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in private clients and deep expertise in U.S. and U.K. multi-year filings and expatriation tax matters
- Strong skills in Financial Planning and Portfolio Management
- Comprehensive knowledge of Tax and Tax Advisory processes
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to clients
- Experience in managing teams and mentoring junior professionals
- Accounting or taxation qualifications (e.g., CPA, EA, ATT/CTA) required
- Understanding of U.S. and U.K. regulatory environments and cross-border financial considerations is a strong advantage
