A busy Canary Wharf-based family seeks a part-time, live-out housekeeper for an ASAP start. Ideally they would like someone to come in 2 days per week, for about 8hrs per day.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of all rooms in the home, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping etc
  • Regular deep cleaning
  • Keeping the kitchen organised and tidy
  • Keeping an eye on pantry stock levels, cleaning supplies etc
  • General tidying and organising
  • Laundry and ironing for the family (parents and toddler)
  • Organising and maintaining wardrobes
  • Regular changing of bedlinen
  • Online ordering and grocery shopping
  • Running errands
  • Accepting deliveries, booking and supervising contractors and trades
  • Preparing an evening (and possibly lunchtime) meal for the family, if possible
  • Light household admin

Requirements

  • The family is keen to find someone discreet and loyal, who pays attention to detail and who will care for the home as their own.
  • The successful candidate should have a positive, can-do personality
  • Be happy to work alongside Mum, who will be working from home for most of the time
