A warm, dynamic, and welcoming family based in Notting Hill seeks an experienced, energetic, and engaging live-out nanny to care for two children (a girl, born 2017, and a boy, born 2019). The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish (highly preferred), as the household is bilingual (English/Spanish), and will bring a positive, proactive, and collaborative approach to a fully staffed home environment.

The schedule will vary depending on the family's needs, however expect to be working for around 11 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with occasional help needed over weekends or when the family travel.

Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, nurturing care and supervision
  • Some school drop offs and pick-ups, and support with homework
  • Organise and accompany children to extracurricular activities
  • Plan engaging, age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and life skills development
  • Prepare children’s meals when the chef is unavailable (including clean-up)
  • Manage children’s laundry and maintain tidy play/bedroom areas
  • Coordinate playdates and social activities
  • Oversee children’s schedules and routines
  • Manage school-related administration (uniforms, communications, etc.)
  • Arrange and attend appointments (e.g. doctor, activities)
  • Pack for family travel and assist during trips if required
  • Monitor developmental milestones and communicate with parents
  • Alert and vigilant in relation to a severe anaphylactic allergy, confidence and experience with managing allergies would be appreciated
Requirements
  • Warm, calm, and engaging, with a positive, can-do approach
  • Fluent Spanish speaker preferred, but not at all essential - the right fit is most important
  • Highly organised and proactive
  • Confident working in a fully staffed household
  • Strong communicator with both children and adults
  • Energetic and physically active, the children enjoy a variety of sports and activities, and the family lives in a beautiful five-storey home - there will be plenty of running up and down stairs!
  • Discreet and professional at all times
  • Confident navigating London and using public transport
  • Flexible around the schedule, able to accompany the family for both domestic and international travel when required
  • Legally able to work in the UK
  • Confident driver with a clean licence
  • Pitch-in approach, able to support housekeeping staff with children's laundry, organisation, and tidying
