A busy, welcoming family in Notting Hill, London seek a fabulous live-in Spanish-speaking (ideally) housekeeper who can start mid- or end-June. The usual schedule will be 7am-12pm and 6pm-9pm, Monday through Friday. The family normally spend their weekends elsewhere, however please be flexible to accommodate occasional longer hours or weekend work if the family remain in residence.

Responsibilities:

  • Beds, tidying, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and organising
  • Changing linens every 3 days
  • Laundry and ironing
  • Making lists of missing supplies
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Light grocery shopping
  • Family breakfast and helping with the morning routine

Requirements:

  • A good level of fitness - the home has 5 flights of stairs!
  • Discreet, flexible and calm personality
  • Impressive attention to detail
  • Comfortable around children
  • Positive, can-do attitude, able to work equally well as part of a team, or independently
  • Plenty of previous high-end housekeeping experience
  • Excellent references
  • Initiative and self-motivation with a positive, can-do approach

Salary and Benefits:

  • Accommodation is an ensuite double bedroom within the main house (with a separate entrance and separate staff kitchen/living room).
  • A staff kitchen/living room is available to be used by all staff members
