A warm, welcoming, and very discreet Richmond-based family seeks a full-time, live-out housekeeper/mother's help. The role is likely to start July 2025. The principals are keen to find a really flexible candidate and the schedule is likely to vary depending on the needs of the family.
Responsibilities
- The family envisage at least 2 full days of cleaning per week (possibly a Monday and Thursday?) with ad-hoc requests for help on the other days, depending on the needs of the family.
- All cleaning for the 6-bedroom home to include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, wiping down surfaces etc.
- Regular deep cleaning.
- Laundry and ironing for the household.
- Regular changing of bedlinen, towels etc.
- Helping with two girls aged 3yrs and 5yrs.
- Occasional babysitting.
- Helping with the evening meal and bath-time routine when needed.
- Some meal prep.
- Errands (dry cleaning, some grocery shopping).
- Occasional school runs.
- Taking the children on outings and adventures during school breaks.
- Occasional weekend help and/or travel.
Requirements
- Native Spanish speakers, or completely fluent, OR Portuguese-speaking.
- Warm, positive, and friendly with a considerate approach and a pitch-in mentality.
- Discreet.
- Flexible and accommodating.
- Brilliant at seeing what needs doing and at tag-teaming with the parents.
- Fit and active, able to cope with several storeys, and with active children!
