Kind and easy-going family is looking for a local UK based nanny to join them this summer from July 14 through September at their home in the Cotswolds. They are open to a local nanny commuting daily or a candidate living in for the duration of the summer for ease (private bedroom and bathroom provided). They have one baby who will be 6-months-old at the start. The schedule will typically be 5 days, 10-12 hours per day, with flexibility for some weekend work, travel, or staying with the baby while the parents travel.

Responsibilities

  • Full-childcare for one infant including making/washing/sanitizing bottles, weaning/solids, helping with sleeping routines and schedules, taking the baby for walks and making sure he gets plenty of time outside each day.
  • Light housekeeping including keeping common areas tidy and organized. If the candidate to hire is open to doing additional cleaning, there is an opportunity for that.
  • Cooking for the child including homemade purees and sometimes cooking/meal prep for the parents.

Qualifications

  • Easy-going personality that is not rigid or strict about things.
  • A warm attitude and able to strike a balance between providing suggestions to parents and following their lead.

Requirements

  • Currently already in the UK and legally able to work there.
  • Passport ready and willing to travel within the EU.
  • Available for the duration of the summer, June-September.
  • Comfortable on the water/a boat. There is at least one trip planned to an island only accessible by boat.

Salary and Benefits

Pay rate will be commensurate with experience, training, credentials, and personality fit.
