Warm and welcoming first-time parents seek a wonderful newborn care specialist to join them from approximately the second week of April. The parents are open to a 24/5 or 24/6 arrangement and the booking will likely last for 6 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Prioritising the safety and well-being of the baby at all times, providing attentive and nurturing overnight care.
- Providing guidance and tools to build confidence in all the day-to-day aspects of baby's care and well-being.
- Supporting Mum with breast and/or formula feeding.
- Maintaining a calm and supportive environment, ensuring Mum is well-rested, hydrated and healing well after the birth.
- Baby's laundry, bottle sterilising (if required), and cleaning of toys and other baby items.
- When/if appropriate, gently encouraging healthy sleep and feed schedules.
Requirements
- Candidates should be gentle, nurturing and calm in their approach.
- Reasonably flexible around the schedule, if possible.
- Extremely good communicators.
- Warm, friendly and passionate about newborn care and supporting families.
- Able to work with involved parents, comfortable listening to the parents' preferences and able to adapt to their needs.
- Open, supportive, and caring.
Salary and Benefits
From £25/hr. Own room with bathroom available for breaks and rest.
