The role: Health Surveillance Manager. We're looking for a Health Surveillance Manager to lead the Health Centre team and support the delivery of health surveillance services across British Airways. You'll lead a team of specialists, oversee health surveillance programmes, support clinical governance requirements and work closely with business areas to ensure health surveillance activity is planned and delivered effectively. This is a people leadership role with responsibility for supporting team performance, maintaining clinical standards and ensuring health surveillance services meet business and regulatory requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support the Health Centre team, ensuring colleagues are well supported, trained and equipped to deliver a high standard of care.
• Manage health surveillance programmes, ensuring activities are planned, delivered and recorded in line with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with business areas to identify occupational health requirements, provide advice and support the management of health risks.
• Oversee clinic scheduling, resource planning and clinical governance activities to support the smooth delivery of services.
• Review data, identify trends and introduce changes that improve service quality, compliance and ways of working.

Qualifications / Experience:

• Degree in SCPHN with Part 3 NMC registration or other degree (essential).
• Minimum 5 years post-NMC Registration experience (desirable).
• Broad OH nursing experience preferably in the Aviation industry (desirable).
• Leading a team of OH specialist practitioners.
• Managing and supporting the development of OH procedures, protocols and services.
• Leading and delivering a successful OH service.
• Understands regulatory and legal constraints and ensures appropriate compliance with all medical processes (essential).
• Significant Travel Health experience.
