The role: Senior Finance Business Partner. Join our Finance and Transformation team at British Airways, the engine room behind the decisions that keep our airline flying high! This team plays a critical role in shaping our financial strategy-driving commercial value, enabling growth, and strengthening our position within IAG. Acting as the link between Finance and the business, this role turns complex financial insight into clear direction. From shaping departmental financial strategy to supporting key commercial decisions, the work here directly influences both current performance and a financially sustainable and successful British Airways.
What you’ll do:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to translate financial data into clear, actionable insight
- Support the delivery of new partnerships and strategic initiatives
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning cycles
- Identify risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment to business priorities
- Drive cost management initiatives and track performance against targets
- Develop and review business cases for future investment
- Work closely with procurement and suppliers to improve efficiency and commercial outcomes

- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

- Experience in a large or matrix organisation
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure and to tight deadlines
- An interest in aviation or prior exposure is a plus!
