The role: Senior Cabin Crew Operations Manager As the on-shift Senior Cabin Crew Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for leading and managing our Cabin Crew Operations Managers and our support teams, overseeing performance, punctuality, and efficiency for our crew members working across our international network. This role presents an opportunity to contribute to British Airways\' continued operational excellence whilst maintaining our world-class service standards. What you’ll do: You will ensure the delivery of seamless operational support in our crew report centre LHR/T5. Your expertise and experience as a senior operational leader will be instrumental in balancing punctuality, customer satisfaction, crew welfare, and operational requirements whilst maintaining strict adherence to CAA regulations. In this pivotal position, you will develop and maintain professional relationships with Trade Unions, collaborate with Global Operations, and work in close partnership with Customer Experience Delivery and Cabin Crew Safety teams. Your leadership will be essential in crisis management situations as part of a senior escalation team. What you’ll bring to British Airways: As a proven leader and people manager, you will have a strong background in performance management, requiring you to identify and implement continuous improvements across Cabin Crew Operations whilst maintaining operational efficiencies. You will provide visible senior leadership within the Crew Report Centre, serving as a crucial point of escalation for operational and crew welfare matters. This position is based at Heathrow and requires flexibility to work within a shift pattern across 365 days. Please note this is not a hybrid role. Your experience: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive leadership experience in aviation operations or a similar operational environment. You must possess exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, superior decision-making skills under pressure, and comprehensive knowledge of aviation regulations and crew management protocols.
