Join British Airways’ Legal Directorate as a Privacy Analyst in our Data Privacy team. This is a key role helping protect the personal data of our customers and colleagues across a truly global airline. What you’ll do:
- Handle Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), using sound judgement and attention to detail to deliver accurate, timely responses.
- Apply your knowledge of data protection laws to meet legal deadlines with confidence.
- Support the Data Protection Officer with privacy queries from across the business.
- Help complete Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and turn risks into practical solutions.
- Support privacy tooling, reporting, and training to build awareness across BA.
- Keep Privacy intranet content clear, current and useful.
What you’ll bring:
- You’re curious, organised, and motivated to learn.
- You care about data privacy and protection and understand why the laws behind it matter.
- You’re comfortable working with sensitive information, happy collaborating with others, and not afraid to ask questions.
- You don’t need to know everything already — but you do bring a growth mindset, strong communication skills, and a willingness to develop!
Your experience:
- Experience in a regulated environment, ideally handling personal or sensitive data.
- Experience or strong awareness of data privacy and data protection, including UK data protection laws.
- Understanding of the legal framework behind privacy obligations.
- Ability to juggle priorities while staying accurate and confidential.
- Experience with tools like OneTrust and/or Microsoft Office is a plus.
