Manager LCY Engineering
Salary: £86,000 – £94,000 per annum
As a Senior Manager in our Engineering department, you will be responsible for leadership and tactical direction to ensure a safe and effective line maintenance operation at our main base, London City Airport to meet operational requirements whilst maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Accountability and overall responsibility for the BA Cityflyer maintenance organisation. through implementation of appropriate strategy and direction to meet operational and business requirements.
- CAA Nominated Postholder for Part-145.
- Ensure compliance with all necessary regulatory requirements.
- Short-term prioritisation and allocation of line maintenance requirements and associated resource, in conjunction with Maintrol
- People management of the Line Maintenance team including performance management, training and engagement.
- Responsible for responding to any compliance findings and/or safety occurrence reports associated with line maintenance, with respect to establishing root cause and the implementation of corrective/preventative actions.
- Drive continuous improvements in departmental processes, relationships and communication including review and control of all departmental procedures, including management of the MOE.
- Ensure the line maintenance team delivers in line with the required operational performance targets including Technical Dispatch Reliability (TDR) and ADD levels, driving improvements where necessary.
- Build and manage the departmental budget to ensure cost-effective service provision and cost control.
- Ensure adequate resource is in place to provide the required levels of coverage in all areas of responsibility to deliver operational requirements to a high standard.
- Manage relationship with London City Airport with respect to all LCY engineering related matters
- Ad hoc project or wider Engineering support as required.

- Licensed Aircraft Engineer or Educated to degree level or equivalent technical/operational qualification. Must meet the qualification requirements required to hold CAA Nominated Postholder position for Part-145.
- Operational management experience including people management in a team environment.

- Part 145 and Part M/CAMO requirement
