We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Functional Manager to join our HCM transformation team. This critical role will lead the Functional Team through the full implementation cycle of Oracle HCM Cloud solutions whilst ensuring seamless alignment between technology capabilities and organisational HR objectives.
What you'll do:
- Drive strategic alignment between Oracle HCM Cloud capabilities and organisational goals.
- Lead a team of functional leads through successful technology-enabled HR transformation, implementing Oracle HCM Cloud modules including Core HR, Absence Management, Talent Management, Recruitment, Onboarding, Learning and Talent Management.
- Oversee the strategic delivery of configuration design for new technology implementation, ensuring alignment with HR business needs.
- Accountable for the governance of user functional testing and the development of training strategies to support successful system transitions and user adoption.
- Lead engagement with HR stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into actionable functional specifications and system configurations.
- Ensure robust planning and execution of data migration, system integrations, security protocols, and reporting solutions.
- Maintain project alignment through cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee documentation standards, ensuring the creation and maintenance of business process flows, system design specifications, test plans, and user training materials.
- Manage project deliverables, resource allocation, status reporting, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed on Oracle Cloud HCM roadmap updates and quarterly releases, providing strategic guidance on the adoption of new features and enhancements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimise HR processes and system performance across the organisation.
What you'll bring to British Airways:
- Core HR, Absence, Talent Management, Recruitment, Onboarding, and Learning along with a strong understanding of HR business processes and operational requirements.
- Proficiency in functional testing methodologies and user training delivery.
- A proven track record in leading complex HCM transformation projects with strong project management skills.
- Outstanding communication skills to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- An inspiring and decisive leader, capable of energising teams to deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure.
Your experience:
- Oracle HCM Cloud implementations experience in a complex environment is desirable.
- Previous experience as a Functional Lead on a large-scale HR transformation project.
- Demonstrated success in managing teams and stakeholder relationships, driving user adoption is essential.
