Base pay range

Carbon60 is working alongside British Airways to recruit for Licensed Aircraft Engineers.

We are looking for B1 UKCAA licensed engineers with a minimum of one type rating on candidates\’ licenses. Ideally A320 family and B777, B787.

The role will be based at Heathrow working on long-haul base maintenance. Candidates will have the opportunity to work for the National Carrier and have access to an excellent remuneration and benefits package.

This will be on a 4 days on, 4 days off or 4 nights on, 4 nights off schedule.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Lead and supervise maintenance activities, setting clear targets and inspiring the team to achieve them.
  2. Lead and motivate a team to reach its full potential.
  3. Ensure the team and individuals comply with policies and procedures of BA.
  4. Responsible for completing all maintenance successfully, through leadership of staff and organization of resources.
  5. Ensure all documentation is completed following company procedures as well as regulatory and airmanship standards.
  6. Maintain a safe working environment.

Skills/Qualifications

An Unrestricted CAA UK Part-66 Category B1 and/or B2 licence.

For B1, hold a minimum of one type rating in the B1.1 Category (turbofan or turboprop).

UK Driving Licence.

Proven recent experience at certifying aircraft, 6 months within the last 2 years.

Salary just over Β£72,468 per annum plus shift uplift.

Annual shift pay ranging from Β£4,450 to Β£9,850 dependent on your shift pattern.

A pension scheme with potential contributions of up to 16.5% (if you contribute 5% BA will contribute 11.5%).
