The Role: Image Retoucher – 12 month fixed term
Join the Creative Studio team at British Airways as an Image Retoucher and play a key role in enhancing the visual identity of one of the world’s most iconic airlines. This dynamic position is responsible for bringing our brand to life across a range of media by assisting on shoots, editing and retouching imagery to the highest standard—supporting campaigns across advertising, social media, PR, and customer experience.
What You’ll Do
- Enhance and edit images across a variety of briefs, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and visual excellence.
- Collaborate closely with photographers, designers, and wider Creative Studio colleagues to deliver compelling imagery that resonates across global channels.
- Source, review, and recommend visual assets for continuous production, maintaining high-quality standards throughout.
- Drive consistency and creativity by championing workflows and quality controls in retouching, batch processing, resizing, cropping, and more.
- Support shoots and post-production activity, applying specialist skills in colour correction, object removal, and texture balancing.
- Embed best practices in asset management and compliance, ensuring all imagery is stored and distributed effectively.
- Monitor performance metrics and sentiment to inform continuous improvement and optimise deliverables.
- Stay ahead of trends and innovative techniques in editing and retouching to keep our brand fresh and impactful.

Your Experience
- Proven experience using Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom, and Excel.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and familiar with planning/management tools such as Adobe Workfront (desirable).
- Solid understanding of production and post-production workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and deliver to brief.
