The role: Resource Allocation Executive
In this exciting, fast-paced role as part of Heathrow Delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring you deliver the right resource at the right time with the right skills in order to effectively and efficiently cover the commercial programme. Working as part of a multi-skilled team carrying out world-class allocation at London Heathrow, you will be accountable for the delivery of robust operational allocation plans that meet the requirements of the operating schedule, whilst proactively solving problems, maintaining resilience, and communicating with multiple stakeholders. As part of this role, you will influence operational performance through the allocation of operational resources, playing a vital part in delivering a safe and punctual operation for our customers and colleagues.
We are recruiting for our specialised teams who allocate resources across the whole of the Heathrow operation, including our customer-facing areas and our colleagues working at aircraft side.
What you’ll do:
- Be an integral part of the team, communicating with stakeholders across Heathrow to deliver a safe and punctual operation.
- Provide clear direction and vision to promote efficiency amongst colleagues and improve operational resilience.
- Shift based covering 24/7, 365 days per year.
What you’ll bring to British Airways:

Your experience:
- Must be able to hold an airside pass
- Supervisory experience, maintaining oversight of performance targets within large teams
- Experience of working in an operational environment
- Experience of using advanced software and digital tools
- Aviation background (desirable)
