Working within our Global Learning Academy, you'll design and deliver impactful leadership and talent development initiatives that directly support our business strategy, values and future success.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Learning Business Managers and the Talent Team to identify leadership and development needs using effective learning discovery techniques.
  • Design and deliver innovative learning solutions aligned to business strategy, utilising a range of learning methods including face-to-face learning, digital content, webinars and podcasts.
  • Project manage the end-to-end design, development and implementation of leadership and talent development programmes.
  • Translate learning objectives and outcomes into engaging, impactful learning experiences.
  • Coordinate and manage the contributions of subject matter experts and third-party suppliers to ensure high-quality content is delivered on time.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams throughout the learning design and development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate leadership and management development programmes, creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
  • Deliver "train the trainer" sessions when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying and sharing learning best practice and emerging trends in leadership development.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of British Airways’ learning culture and people strategy.

  • Your Experience
  • Proven experience in blended learning design, development and innovation. (essential)
  • Strong background in leadership, management and talent development. (essential)
  • End-to-end Learning & Development experience across a variety of learning styles and delivery methods. (essential)
  • Experience designing and delivering digital learning solutions, including e Learning, virtual classrooms and modern learning approaches. (essential)
  • Strong stakeholder management, consultancy and business partnering skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution and delivery against timelines and budgets.
  • Experience using data and insights to inform decision-making and measure learning effectiveness.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and provide professional challenge to support the development of high‑quality learning solutions.
  • Experience managing suppliers and external partners within learning and development projects is desirable.
