Overview
In this role you lead the architecture and governance of the Oracle Fusion HCM and broader People Technology stack, guiding secure, scalable solutions from project delivery to business-as-usual operations. You will shape roadmaps with HR and Product teams and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and cyber requirements. The role supports a major technology transformation, delivering value from the Oracle investment while enabling a better colleague experience. You’ll work across HR, Technology, and partners to drive innovation and simplification in People systems.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the architecture authority for Oracle Fusion HCM and related People Tech platforms, setting direction for capabilities and best practices
- Design scalable, secure, and integrated solutions for the People function across domains
- Translate business needs into sustainable technology solutions aligned with strategic objectives
- Collaborate with Product Owners, HRIS teams, and stakeholders to shape roadmaps and priorities
- Govern application, data, integration, and security architecture within the People Tech ecosystem
- Assess impact of process and technology changes on HR systems and downstream platforms
- Govern new People Tech capabilities to align with objectives, standards, and cyber requirements
- Partner with Cyber Security, EA, Data, Service Management, and suppliers to implement solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to projects, suppliers, and support partners
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce complexity and technical debt
- Lead reviews of Oracle releases to ensure alignment with the roadmap and business needs
- Monitor Oracle evolution and AI opportunities to maximise value from the investment
Key requirements
- Proven experience in HR, People Systems, HRIS, or enterprise tech transformations
- Ability to translate requirements into practical tech solutions and influence stakeholders
- Strong grasp of system integrations, data flows, governance, and change impact
- Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion HCM and related HR tech platforms
- Experience delivering Oracle HCM Cloud implementations in complex enterprises
- Experience shaping roadmaps, architecture decisions, and governance in cloud ecosystems
- Understanding of data architecture, cyber security, and operating models
- Active engagement with Oracle HCM Cloud communities or product forums is advantageous
- Oracle certifications and interest in AI/automation in HR tech are beneficial
- Knowledge of solution architecture principles and governance frameworks desirable
- Collaborative mindset across HR, Product, Technology, Cyber Security, Data, and suppliers
