Overview
As a Licensed Aircraft Engineer for long-haul fleets, you will lead maintenance activities and uphold regulatory standards while certifying multiple aircraft types. You join a dynamic Engineering team within a growing fleet program, gaining ownership of tasks with support from skilled colleagues. This role focuses on leadership, safety, and technical proficiency across B777, B787, A350, and A380 platforms. Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance activities with clear targets and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with procedures, legal, regulatory and airmanship standards
- Oversee completion of planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks
- Provide guidance for team maintenance activities and safe work practices
- Maintain qualification on all applicable aircraft types, vehicles and equipment
- Conduct competency checks per quality procedures
- Perform IT and documentary transactions as required
- Support ongoing knowledge and skills development
Key requirements
- Unrestricted CAA UK Part-66 Category B1 and/or B2 licence
- For B1: at least one B1.1 type rating (turbofan or turboprop)
- For B2: at least one B2 type rating (fixed wing or rotary)
- UK Driving Licence (or equivalent)
- Proven recent experience certifying aircraft (last 2 years)
