Overview

In this role you support defining and delivering cybersecurity products that align with BA’s strategy, working with product owners, security engineers, and stakeholders. You will help maintain backlogs, contribute to roadmaps and release plans, and translate technical requirements into actionable tasks. You’ll collaborate with cyber engineering, architecture and compliance to ensure security capabilities meet business needs and compliance. You’ll also communicate progress to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement of security products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver cybersecurity products and services aligned with the organisation’s strategy
  • Maintain product backlogs with clearly defined, prioritised security features and improvements
  • Develop product roadmaps and release plans for timely security capabilities
  • Translate technical requirements from cyber engineering, architecture and compliance into actionable tasks
  • Engage with business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to communicate product strategy and security benefits
  • Prepare updates, progress reports, and governance presentations for product reviews
  • Gather user and stakeholder feedback to inform continuous improvement of security offerings
  • Collaborate with other product owners and teams to ensure consistent security practices across related products

Key requirements

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) including cloud security, identity management, and vulnerability management
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with focus on security controls and architecture
  • Ability to translate business objectives into technical product requirements and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and track progress
  • Analytical mindset with ability to identify risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
  • Proactive and curious approach to learning new technologies
