Overview
In this role you will lead delivery of cabin programmes to contract and quality standards, managing supplier performance and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe, compliant and timely aircraft products. You will act as the on-site focal point with cabin suppliers and coordinate remedial and continuous improvement actions. The position sits at the heart of BA Engineering's mission to deliver reliable, world-class cabin experiences while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance. This is a hands-on role with wide impact across BA and IAG supplier relationships, with meaningful opportunities to shape product quality and delivery processes.

Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of cabin programmes to scope, on-time and high quality
- Drive supplier performance and enforce quality/product standards
- Partner with internal teams to implement remedial plans for quality issues
- Oversee technical requirements and maintain quality and delivery metrics
- Identify issues, negotiate acceptance criteria for aircraft purchases
- Serve as On-Site Focal Point with cabin suppliers on technical/delivery matters
- Deliver on-site technical expertise aligned with safety, regulatory and commercial requirements
- Champion process improvement and reduce repetitive build defects
- Track in-service technical performance and ensure corrective actions are included in new deliveries
- Liaise with Programme Team and IAG Group Investment to secure commitments beyond delivery
Key requirements
- STEM degree/recognised apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience - Essential

- In depth cabin product and material knowledge gained through hands-on or equivalent experience - Desirable
