Overview
As Axia Stream Manager you will steer the Engineering and Maintenance streams through the AXIA transformation, aligning business goals with the new AMOS-based solution. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage delivery milestones, and ensure regulatory compliance with minimal disruption to operations. This role offers the chance to shape end-to-end processes, drive large-scale change, and partner with IAG and suppliers. Responsibilities
- Delivery of an AXIA Transformation stream with a multi-million pound investment
- Lead and coordinate a project management portfolio with goals aligned to business plan and budget
- Design and validate the Engineering and Maintenance solution for AXIA at BA and IAG levels
- Support technical build and embed new ways of working across teams
- Ensure tools and processes integrate without disruption and meet regulatory requirements
- Establish strategic relationships with suppliers, OpCos and industry experts
- Provide executive-level reporting and act as trusted adviser to streams within Engineering and Maintenance
Key requirements
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience (Essential)
- Experience of risk assessment and mitigation in Engineering (Essential)
- Strong understanding of aviation regulatory frameworks (Essential)
- Experience of maintenance & engineering operations (Essential)
- Ability to forecast impact of information and control programme finances within budget
- Cross-functional awareness across department areas
