The role

Health and Safety Compliance Audit Manager

The Aviation and Operational Safety Team is part of Corporate Safety and Security, setting safety policy and having oversight of safety performance across the airline.

What you’ll do

  • Plan and conduct Health and Safety Audits against all applicable UK Health & Safety Regulations, identify root causes for non-compliances, agree action plans and ensure corrective actions are effective.
  • In addition to H&S audits, you will also be part of the team providing competent advice to departments across the business.

What you’ll bring to British Airways

  • You will have a good understanding of compliance monitoring principles when applied to UK Health & Safety Legislation, and have strong influencing and communication skills. Curious, with an attention to detail, you will not \”walk on by\” if you see something hazardous.
