Join our leadership team at British Airways as Head of Operations at British Airways Maintenance Glasgow (BAMG). This is a key role, responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of our engineering maintenance operation in Glasgow, ensuring exceptional service delivery, safety, compliance, and performance.
What you'll do:
- Lead the BAMG Part 145 operation as the accountable post holder, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance services.
- Drive consistent, high-quality service delivery that meets all customer and regulatory requirements.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, ensuring BAMG remains competitive and efficient, delivering year-on-year cost reductions.
- Build and maintain a constructive employee relations climate that supports change and enhances our ways of working.
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders including suppliers, corporate safety, CAMO, and regulatory authorities.
- Maximise third-party commercial opportunities and support the wider Maintenance Leadership Team in delivering strategic business goals.
- Ensure processes meet statutory airworthiness standards and benchmark positively against industry standards.

Your experience:
- Proven experience leading a large engineering maintenance organisation or department in a complex industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of airworthiness compliance, engineering processes, and health & safety legislation.
- Strong commercial acumen, supplier management skills, and experience in business change delivery.
- An appropriate technical qualification such as Aircraft Maintenance Licence, Engineering degree or equivalent, and familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
