This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving innovation across our HR systems landscape, with Oracle Fusion HCM at its core, ensuring we maximise value from our technology investments while delivering scalable, secure and future-ready solutions across the business.This role is ideally suited to someone coming from a Solutions Architecture/Consulting background with significant Oracle HCM Cloud implementation experience who is looking to move into an in-house strategic leadership role. Equally, you may be an experienced HRIS professional with a strong track record of operating within a complex enterprise technology environment, passionate about emerging technology, AI innovation and the ongoing evolution of Oracle HCM Cloud.What you'll doAct as the solution architecture authority for Oracle Fusion HCM and the wider People Technology landscape, providing strategic direction on platform capabilities, solution design and best practice adoption.Own and govern application, integration, data and security architecture across the People Technology ecosystem.Assess and approve the impact of process and technology changes across HR systems, data, integrations and downstream platforms.Collaborate closely with Cyber Security, Enterprise Architecture, Technology Delivery, Data teams, Service Management and third-party suppliers to implement new solutions.Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to projects, suppliers and support partners.Lead the assessment of Oracle quarterly releases, ensuring enhancements align with British Airways' roadmap, emerging business requirements and our Oracle-first philosophy.Actively monitor Oracle's product evolution, AI capabilities and innovation opportunities to ensure British Airways continues to maximise value from its investment and remains evergreen.Your experience will be evident through your ability to influence senior stakeholders, translate complex technical concepts into clear business solutions and drive decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term sustainability.
