The role: Commercial Analytics & Insights Analyst. At British Airways, data helps shape the decisions behind how we fly, where we invest, and how we serve our customers. Joining the Commercial Analytics & Insights team means working at the heart of those decisions, helping turn information into clear recommendations that support commercial performance across the airline.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver forecasts and performance updates for stakeholders across Commercial, Finance and Network teams.
  • Analyse commercial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support target setting and performance improvement through modelling and insight.
  • Investigate areas of concern and provide clear recommendations backed by data.
  • Monitor performance against business objectives and commercial plans.
  • Assess competitor activity and market performance.
  • Evaluate pricing, product and proposition changes.
  • Prepare and present findings to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
  • Work with partner airlines to understand wider market and network performance.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to transform analytical processes, generate actionable insights and provide data-led recommendations.
