About the Role:
The Holidays business has an ambitious growth strategy across market, product, customer, and tech. The Product Lead (pre-booking experience) role will lead a product team to build and develop all customer journeys and capabilities from the inspiration and discovery stage through to a booking being made, including the end-to-end selling journey. This role will have accountability for developing our pre-booking strategy and delivering a brilliant customer experience consistent with the broader British Airways Holidays strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Set the vision, strategy, and goals for pre-booking, ensuring these are informed by business strategy, customer research, and analytics.
- Lead a multi-disciplinary product team, including Associate Product Owners, a QA Engineer, Business Analysts, and Tech Lead.
- Set the roadmap, ensuring solution design and decision making in your area is informed by business priorities, customer research/data, and the efficient use of technologies.
- Accountable for delivery within your area, including liaising with central Tech to ensure we have the right resourcing and solution design.
- Accountable for a high-quality customer experience for pre-booking.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to inform decision making and communicate transparently around product priorities and progress.
- Oversee the budget for your area, ensuring investment level is appropriate and spend is efficient.
- Manage the performance and ongoing optimisation of your live product, monitoring performance across customer, commercial, delivery, and quality metrics.
