The Role Commercial Data and Reporting Manager To lead the delivery of high-quality data, metrics and self-service reporting to ensure the Commercial department can achieve optimal performance. Lead a team to develop and consistently deliver highly usable data and reporting products working alongside delivery partners in the wider airline. Ensuring prioritisation and governance of developments across Commercial. What You’ll Do Lead the development of the data, metrics and self-service reporting required to ensure Commercial can deliver and improve performance. Coordinate and manage a team of data and reporting analysts and virtual cross-functional teams for Data and Reporting Product delivery and improvement. Build a flexible delivery organisation that can expand with product requirements. Work with IT and Data teams to productionise reporting and data requirements and changes. Define and deliver a data and self-serve reporting strategy for Commercial including technology selection, defining standards and accessibility. Deliver timely and sustainable automated reporting and metrics with efficient productionised code. Lead the governance and prioritisation of cross-commercial data products and self-serve reporting. Ensure the definition and ongoing quality of cross-commercial data and metrics, and the automated production and high-usability by commercial teams. Drive cross department governance, delivery of best practise and usage of common data. What You’ll Bring To British Airways Strong understanding of how to structure data for efficient use, manipulate data and build sustainable data processes. Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and ability to present concise and meaningful data to deliver commercial insight. Proactive & delivery focused with track record of anticipating requirements and ability to lead across areas to deliver results. Your Experience Strong practical experience in developing analytical code (e.g. SQL/Python) and producing reporting solutions Experience In Leading change in data availability/quality for a business Presenting data accurately with a high standards of presentation skills Leading a team to prioritise and deliver data and reporting solutions Driving change within a Commercial role What We Offer We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play.
