Your goal is to provide the very best flight experience bringing our business and leisure customers into the heart of London. BA Cityflyer operates primarily from London City Airport, flying to destinations across Europe and the UK on a seven-day-a-week operation including business, charter and leisure flights with a varied roster (day trips, night stops and tours). You will work flexibly within a tight-knit team to operate Embraer 190 services in a challenging operating environment, maintaining high professional standards and delivering industry-leading customer service.
You will have opportunities to develop your career within BA Cityflyer as a Line Trainer, TRI, TRE or become a Pilot Recruiter, among other development paths. We offer a comprehensive benefits package as listed below.

Minimum criteria to apply
- Currently operating as a Captain is desirable.
- Current UK CAA Part-FCL licence ATPL (A) or ability to convert to a UK licence using CAA EASA transfer process route 5 or 6.
- A current type rating with a minimum of 4000 hours total hours to include 1500 hours as PIC of a commercial jet/turboprop multi-crew aircraft. The 1500 hours PIC must be on an aircraft MTOW 20,000kg or greater and will not include any PICUS hours.
- A current UK issued ATPL (A).
- ICAO English language proficiency level 6.
- Valid ME Instrument rating.
- Valid Class 1 Medical (valid for 6 months after date of joining).
- E-Jet type rating desirable but not essential.

- Candidates who were not successful at initial screening, video interview, capacity testing or assessment centre stage can reapply after 6 months from their most recent assessment date due to updated processes. Candidates who were not successful at the SIM stage must wait 12 months before reapplying for the pilot recruitment campaign.
