The role The role: B2 Licenced Aircraft Engineer We are expanding our Maintenance team and looking for skilled B2 Licenced Aircraft Engineers ready to lead and grow with us. With a modernising fleet and flexible type rating training, now is the perfect time to take your career to new heights. What You Will Do Lead and supervise maintenance across a range of aircraft: A320, B777, B787, A350, A380. Ensure safety, compliance, and timely completion of planned and ad-hoc maintenance. Guide teams, allocate resources, and maintain qualifications across aircraft, vehicles, and equipment. Conduct competency checks and manage documentation using our digital systems. What You Will Need Unrestricted UK CAA Part-66 B2 Licence (with at least one type rating). Recent certification experience (6+ months in the last 2 years). UK Driving Licence (or equivalent). We offer a comprehensive relocation package, including two weeks of hotel accommodation for you and your family, giving you time to settle comfortably into your new home. Annual Shift Allowance: Receive between £4,450 and £9,850 annually, depending on your shift pattern. Generous Pension Contributions: You can contribute up to 5% of your salary, and in return, BA will contribute up to 11%. On top of that, we’ll add an extra 0.5% through our Smart Pension Credit, bringing the total potential contribution to 16.5% of your salary. For example: You contribute £308 per month (5%), BA contributes £679 per month (11%), plus an additional £31 per month from Smart Pension Credit (0.5%). That’s a total of £1,018 per month, or £12,216 per year going into your pension, helping you save more, faster. Flexible Benefits Package: Choose from private medical insurance, life assurance, and critical illness cover. Life assurance is provided at 5x your basic salary, with the option to purchase additional cover for yourself and your partner.
