Job Description
British Airways, the UK\’s flag carrier, is seeking a Material Supplier to join our team at London Gatwick. The role involves processing, storing, and delivering aircraft tools and materials used by BA Engineering worldwide. You will ensure high standards in our warehouse and stores, supporting logistics operations 24/7, 365 days a year.
Responsibilities include quality checking, receipting, issuing, dispatching materials, and potentially delivering aircraft materials using company vans. Forklift operation for loading, unloading, and storage is also required.
Requirements
- Ability to meet BA medical requirements for licenses/permits.
- Experience in warehousing/logistics preferred, with a focus on quality.
- PC literacy for data entry in our central system.
Training & Development
- Up to 4 weeks induction covering safety, forklift training, SAP system, manual handling, and shadowing.
- Ongoing compliance training.
Additional Information
Successful candidates will need to pass a medical assessment before joining.
